Leah studied a dual degree in Law and Justice at Queensland University of Technology prior to admission in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. Leah is the Deputy Principal Legal Officer for Queensland Indigenous Family Violence Legal Service (QIFVLS), responsible for the Brisbane, Bamaga and Torres Strait office, with additional travel as required. Leah previously filled the role as Team Leader for Brisbane and Cairns office and assisted in establishing a new office in the Torres Strait. Leah regularly appears in family law, child protection and domestic violence matters before the Court. Leah is currently a volunteer lawyer at the Suncoast Community Legal Service, providing advice in general law and family law. Leah is the current Treasurer for the Sunshine Coast Law Association.
