In 2016, following almost thirty years as a Registered General and Psychiatric Nurse, a career change led to studying law at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Currently in the third year of studies and is thoroughly enjoying the challenges that the legal process and practice can provide.
Keen interests are: Intellectual Property Law, Corporations/Company Law, Constitutional Law, Mental Health Tribunal and Animal Welfare Law.
With an undertaking to a cross institutional study program for the Animal Law course at the Southern Cross University for the Summer School Session in 2018.
A current member of The Queensland Law Society, the Australian Association of Constituional Law, the Animal Law Institute UK, as well as other animal rights groups.
Currently applying to volunteer at the SunCoast Community Legal Service in order to gain valuable experience and to provide me with an opportunity to act upon my strong sense of social responsibility and justice.
Expected to graduate in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws LLB, with a minor of Criminology.
